‘Especially in uncertain times, people rely on a sense of security’
Amsterdam – Fewer and fewer people are choosing to get married, but fewer couples who do take the step are separating. The number of marriages ending in divorce has not been this low since 1980, according to new figures from Statistics Netherlands. However, more and more couples live together without being married, even if they have children.
