Cathy Hummels is plagued by doubts before returning home

By Jula Schreiber

Super trained and super tanned – this is how Cathy Hummels (35) lolls on new snapshots on Instagram.

The purple metallic bikini that Cathy is wearing in the photos is a real eye-catcher. For fans, it should be the presenter’s last bikini photos for the time being: Cathy has started her way home to Germany after almost two months of vacation, and is now freezing in the February cold, like all of us.

Dubai, Thailand and back to the desert metropolis – Cathy led a jet set life for weeks, using the cold months for a warm break. But work was also on the agenda, she was shooting in Thailand for the format “Battle of the Reality Stars”.

Shortly before her return, Cathy was thoughtful and posted another bikini snapshot with serious lines on Instagram. “After two months we go back home. It starts tomorrow morning… To be honest, I have mixed feelings. We left on 12/19/22, the day of my divorce,” she describes her mood.

Cathy about her future: “Now my reality starts again in Germany with a lot of bureaucracy and new beginnings. I don’t like insecurities that much… They scare me.”

Honest words from the presenter, who after more than 13 years together has to cope with the divorce from husband Mats Hummels (34).

Cathy Hummels speaks openly about her doubts

Cathy Hummels tries to explain her concerns to her followers like this: “I’m looking forward to the future, but at the same time I have a lot of doubts. Am I doing everything the way I want it to be? I don’t know it. That’s why I’ve been kind of sad the last few days…”

But even in such melancholic times, Cathy manages not to lose her sense of humor entirely. She jokes, “But do you know what I know? My journey is over. Because everything has an end, only the sausage has two.”

When Cathy landed at the airport in Munich, she had found her smile again: her dad picked her up – and he’ll certainly cheer up and pamper his daughter properly first.
