Catherine Keyl enjoys watching Today Inside, but is disappointed in the current Curaçao edition of the program. “I may be too Dutch for that,” said the senior TV diva.
The men from Today Inside have settled in Curaçao and it is not at all what was expected. Really no one understands why they are on the island. It feels more like a staff outing that we can all witness together. As an avid viewer of the program, Catherine Keyl is also anything but enthusiastic.
Nice puh
Catherine is disappointed. “Let me start by saying: I think it’s a fantastic talk show, really great, and I watch it every evening, so I’m a totally adaptbut maybe that’s the reason,” she says in Business Class.
She continues: “There is a bit of a nice-puh element to it now. Especially when it was raining, I just felt bad about it, like: they are all sitting there in shorts, and we are sitting in the rain, you know. That always has an effect on the viewers, I know from experience.”
Football shirt
You can’t really take the VI guests seriously, says Catherine. “I heard Tina say that it had no effect on the viewing figures, but those were the first broadcasts and I am very curious to see what will happen next. It is strange to hear someone in a football shirt give an opinion. I am not used to that.”
Host Harry Mens: “I actually found Johan very relaxed. You notice that he is enjoying himself. Of course, he has to drive up and down here every day, and he doesn’t have to do that there. Johan is in better shape, I think.”
Shorts
Catherine continues to watch the program, but with mixed feelings. “I still like it, but maybe I’m too Dutch for that, that you think that when someone is in shorts, you think that he can’t actually give such a good opinion.”
But, she concludes: “That doesn’t really make sense, of course.”
