Catherine Keyl thinks Nadia Moussaid is a lazy girl: ‘Walk over there!’

It took a while, but it’s finally here: Catherine Keyl deals a big sneer at her copycat Nadia Moussaid, who is almost forty years younger. “Take the effort to walk there!”

Nadia Moussaid’s failed talk show that was shown until recently in the eve of NPO 1 will probably not return. It is not a great loss, because it is all an awful repetition of moves. Just before the ice age, Catherine Keyl did exactly the same on RTL 4, with exactly the same subjects.

“Why now?”

The only difference between Nadia and Catherine? The latter had good ratings. And so Nadia could have asked for some advice, Catherine subtly remarks during an interview with Broadcasting Flevoland.

The presenter: “Let me put it this way: if there is someone in the Netherlands who has five years of experience with a daily talk show, which was not unpopular after all because I just had a million viewers a day, why don’t you ask someone like that? for advice? Now you just make all the rookie mistakes again.”

‘Walk over there!’

Catherine hints that she thinks that Nadia is just a lazy girl. “Look, the essential thing about that show is that the audience participates, so the talk show host clearly has an active role in engaging the audience.”

She continues: “If you then ask the sound assistant for a microphone because you don’t bother to run to it… Just that. Then I think: yes, too bad, you didn’t quite understand.”

Criticism of colleague

Furthermore, Catherine does not like to say too much about it. “I always find it very difficult to be very critical of colleagues. (…) Passing judgment on someone and perhaps then ensuring that they are smashed into the ground and cannot come back…”

But luckily, Catherine says: “I hear she has a two-year contract.”
