Tim Hofman has released a book for the tutoring school BrainBoost that contains outrageous cheating tips for students, as noted by TV critic Victor Vlam. “I found it amusing because I couldn’t believe what I was reading. It was genuinely hallucinatory,” said Victor, a regular guest on the Hélène Hendriks talk show, during his podcast, Victor Duidt TV.
The Cheating Techniques
The book provides various tips on how to cheat effectively during examinations, according to Victor. “How is it possible that this is a serious textbook for a reputable tutoring school? Tim gives students all kinds of advice on how to cheat during tests or assessments. Yes, that’s literally what it says,” he added.
He continued: “I brought a few of the tips to give you an idea of what this textbook contains. Tip one? ‘Take your test. Leave the questions you can’t answer immediately open. Go to the bathroom and search all the answers on Google. Just make sure to bring two phones, so you can hand one in.’”
Victor cynically remarked, “Yeah, brilliant. Just fool the surveillance.”
More Disturbing Suggestions
Victor went on to discuss the second tip: “Write your material on a sheet of school paper that tests are also printed on. Place it under your test and after ten minutes, just pull out the sheet as if you just wrote it down.”
The TV critic was aghast: “Why would you even study if you can just cheat?”
The third tip is even more shocking: “Don’t forget for the girls. Write on your thigh under your skirt. The teacher isn’t allowed to look there.”
Unbelievable Guidance
Victor expressed his disbelief, stating, “Isn’t this an outrageous suggestion? I also think this isn’t very woke, but that’s more Tim’s thing, so I have to rely on him for that. But I find it outrageous to read. This is the book from the tutoring school BrainBoost, written by the one and only Tim Hofman.”
Catherine Keyl is equally stunned. “I find it very, very intense. I just can’t get over it. Our country is literally crumbling due to fraud and deception, and someone who teaches does this kind of thing… I find it just shocking,” she said during an interview with Omroep Flevoland.
A Double Standard?
Catherine pointed out the hypocrisy in Tim’s actions. Despite promoting these dubious tips, he has a lot to say about others, particularly criticizing footballer Redouan El Yaakoubi. “He’s not the only one he’s ruined; that’s a bit of a VARA thing,” she noted.
Turning to Victor, who was also a guest at the regional broadcaster, she remarked, “I thought it was quite something that he considered you a nitwit. That has a certain charm. An honorific!”
