cate Blanchett is one of the faces of new Louis Vuitton campaigncreated in collaboration with the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and photographed by Steven Meisel (the other testimonials are Léa Seydoux and Justin Timberlake). And the make-up, given that she is one of the most eclectic actresses ever, it is a true work of art: a wonderful hippie style flower signed by Pat McGrath, a tribute to spring and rebirth. Cate Blanchett: bodypainting flower is a tribute to spring
Made with the bodypainting technique, it is a flower that “sprouts” from the shoulders with a long stem in light green and dark green shades, and then climbs along the neck and reaches the face: where it opens up in all its beauty. The dominant colors are purple, lilac and pink – color decreed as the trendy one of SS2023 -, while the surfaces are characterized by small dotsthe famous dots, distinctive feature of the language of Yayoi Kusama.
These graphic inserts, together with the colours, give the whole a dimension of “Modern Impressionism”a three-dimensionality vibrant and kaleidoscopic.
Glow Skin: the makeup trend for spring 2023
Cate Blanchett’s official make-up artist, Mary Greenwell gave the face of the actress a look bright and glow following the “Glow Skin” trend that makes the complexion radiant, ideal for the over 50s.
As? Using light and moisturizing foundationsto be mixed with a few drops of liquid highlighter, to give the face a healthy, fresh and young look.
