Catalonia Prime Minister threatens to stop supporting Spanish government over espionage

Catalan Prime Minister Pere Aragonès has threatened to withdraw parliamentary support from Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s central government in Madrid over the spy affair. If nobody takes responsibility for spying on the phones of dozens of Catalan politicians and their entourage, it will be “very difficult to maintain the parliamentary stability of the government,” Aragonès told radio station RAC1 on Wednesday.
