A cat that was found in poor condition in Liessel on Monday was put out of her misery a day later. This is reported by the Regional Shelter for Stray Animals Eindhoven Foundation (ROZE). She is urgently looking for the owner of the animal.
The cat was found on the Berktsedijk in Liessel. According to the foundation, she was in such a bad condition that it was ‘unfortunately’ necessary to put her to sleep.
“After an X-ray, it turned out that there was too much irreparable internal damage,” ROZE employees explain. “We will keep her until January 13 so that a possible owner can say goodbye.” It is a gray tabby, unchipped cat.
If you are the owner of the animal, you can contact ROZE via the control room on 040-7470100 or during the week between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the shelter on telephone number 040-7470147.
