Case between Britney Spears and her mother Lynne to appear in court on Wednesday | Celebrities

CelebritiesBritney Spears (40) and her mother Lynne (67) are due to appear in court on Wednesday. The singer’s mother believes that the lawyers who assisted her in the case about the receivership of Britney should be compensated by her daughter. In total, mom Spears demands about 550,000 euros.

Lynne Spears is convinced that it is thanks to her lawyers that her daughter Britney is a free woman again. Mathew Rosengart, the singer’s lawyer, however, thinks otherwise. “While Lynne was within her rights to engage her own legal team with her own money, there is no basis for putting Britney in between now. It’s a matter between Lynne and her lawyers.”

Striking timing

The timing of the whole thing is already striking, because earlier this week the singer was very mild to her mother on her social media. Britney called her mother “a great support” on her Instagram account. A big difference with a few months ago, because then the singer accused her mother of being “the brain” behind the entire receivership. “My father may have started it, but what people don’t know is that the idea came from my mother. I will never get those years back. She ruined my life.”

Earlier this week, however, it looked like La Spears had changed his mind. When the pop diva congratulated Selena Gomez, who was present at her wedding to Sam Asghari, on her birthday a few days ago, Britney had nothing but praise for her mother. “Mom and Selena, I’m so happy that my family is supporting me,” it sounded, among other things, with the photo. “She has told me three times that it is her wish that I be happy. My mother is just like that.” Britney also added: “My mother has been asked three times in the street how I felt about her reaction to my marriage…She has said she hopes I’m happy!!!” The post in question is now nowhere to be found.
