The voices of the protagonists, Ludovica Martino and Giacomo Giorgio
«Laura is a very revolutionary girl for her time», explained Ludovica Martino when presenting the film. «It goes against what her father would have wanted for her: she wants to work, emancipate herself, find her place in the world. We see her go from being a little girl with lively eyes to an emancipated woman who manages to emerge in a chauvinist environment, going from making coffee to obtaining a very important role as an author.”
Giacomo Giorgio, describing “his” Mario, said that «despite being a somewhat vain, arrogant and cynical boy, he hides a great sensitivity and fragility. I really enjoyed telling the error: in Carousel everything is wrong for Mario. But after twenty years he realizes that great cinema had been made precisely in those little pieces of Carousel».
