Caroline van Eeden throws herself on offer to the Hilversum TV bosses. She wants to become the new Frank & Rogier. With whom? “Chimène van Oosterhout, very nice!”
She made her appearance in the first season of Chateau Meiland as Martien Meiland’s best friend and since then she sees herself as a real celebrity: Caroline van Eeden. She now even thinks she is interesting enough for a prime-time program like Paleis voor een Prikkie, which was previously presented by the duo Frank & Rogier.
Caroline & Chimene
At the moment Caroline can be seen as one of the candidates in De Alleskunner VIPS, the program in which B and C stars try to prove that they are an all-rounder. There she met former presenter Chimène van Oosterhout. And with her she would like to become the new Frank & Rogier.
Caroline tells in the Weekend that she likes that: “Yes, I have nice contact with Chimène van Oosterhout, which came about through our participation in De Alleskunner. I would love to do something with her. And I happen to know Rogier, I have good contact with him.”
‘I have feelings’
Rogier would probably support it, Caroline thinks. “He once approached me via Instagram and said he admired me for how I spoke to the media. I think he is a very likeable boy.”
According to Caroline, an interior program would suit her perfectly. “I have a feeling for that, I really enjoy doing it,” she says. “I also completely styled my new house and it is beautiful, that makes me very happy.”
Act
What else can the bosses of RTL and SBS call her for? Maybe your own drama series? Yes, she also likes acting. “Yes, because you’ve been doing that all your life, haven’t you? I would find that quite a challenge, for sure.”
It’s like it or not, Caroline decides. “If it comes my way, I certainly won’t say no. However, I don’t feel the need to call myself. One must also see something in me.”
