Caroline van der Plas is annoyed in conversation with De Telegraaf. She believes that the two interviewers of service make a very silly sneer at some point. “This is to.”

It is election time and that means that we are beaten with politicians who have a chat everywhere. De Telegraaf will launch this weekend with a double interview With the BBB duo Caroline van der Plas and Mona Keijzer. They are disappointed that the right -wing cabinet has fallen with the PVV. “Geert wanted to get out,” they say in unison.

Gigantic mandate

Geert Wilders has had everything unnecessary, says Mona. “I still find it incredible. You have a huge mandate of the voter, you are finally sitting in a cabinet where you can take asylum steps. And that you then drop it out of your hands like that?”

She continues: “And now elections again … Our Lord may know what will come from it. It can actually make me angry, sad and grumpy.”

‘We are going to cut’

What also makes Caroline and Mona angry, sad and grumpy is the journalist duo of De Telegraaf. This duo points out the political leaders that it is unclear how the BBB wants to finance all their plans. “Maybe a bit faint, but we can’t say anything about that. That is October 10,” replies Caroline.

We can know where the acid is at the BBB? “We said we are going to cut back on the NPO. We are going to cut in development cooperation. We are going to cut in asylum. That’s where it will come from.”

“This is very much!”

Then you will not get there for a long time. “Does BBB sometimes want the national debt to rise?”

Mona: “My fingers itch, but ehm ..”

De Telegraaf: “Do you have to google it differently – just like in the previous election interview -?”

Mona: “Oooooh.”

Caroline Pissig: “I think that’s a nasty comment. We try to give serious answers.”

The newspaper concludes: “And we try to ask serious questions.”
