Carnival or anal? Bruna’s advertisement causes a lot of commotion: “I had to look very carefully”

The intention was simply to announce a renovation of the store, with the word ‘carnival’ at the top of the poster. But the innocent poster from Bruna, a chain of book and magazine stores, in Rijen, Brabant, turned out completely differently. Because of the pink letters on a red background, people read the word ‘anal’ en masse. And that causes quite a stir and hilarity on the internet.
