Carnival celebrations in Vlijtingen go to blows: three police officers incapacitated | Beltst

Around 4 o’clock a fight broke out between two groups of carnival people. The fight would have taken place on the street, next to the carnival tent. The police tried to intervene and handcuff some of the amok when one of the officers was pushed and kicked in the back. Two other officers also sustained bruises and are out of work for at least a week. The police have been able to arrest some suspects.
