Carlos Sainz wins pole position in F1 Belgium – Breaking Motorsports news



Spanish driver Carlos Sainz of the Ferrari team won the “pole” position in the 14th leg of the Formula 1 World Championship, the Belgian Grand Prix.


Red Bull’s Max Verstappen from the Netherlands became the best driver in qualifying at the 7-kilometer Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in the town of Stavelot in the province of Liege.


Sainz, who took second place 0.632 seconds behind Verstappen, achieved the “pole” position due to the penalty given to his opponent.


The Belgian Grand Prix, which will be held over 44 laps, will start tomorrow at 16.00.


Before the stage, Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, Esteban Ocon, Mick Schumacher, Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu were suspended from the last place due to the changes made to their cars.
