A legal dispute between the FC Carl Zeiss Jena and the Northeast German Football Association becomes a posse full of mutual allegations: After the rejection of an appeal application against a pyro fine, the traditional association sharply criticized the regional association and describes its procedure as a targeted provocation of sports jurisdiction.

With the objection of the exuberant sports court proceedings, which the clubs are more and more incorrectly created by AI (artificial intelligence) and intentionally incorrectly, have to be publicly burdened by the clubs, which would be more and more stressful without any countable results, explained Jena Managing Director Patrick Widera.

The association, which was occupied by the NOFV association court for the burning of pyrotechnics with a penalty of 18,400 euros, had appealed with a 73 -page letter – a few pages are common in the case of an appeal. Jena is a main actor in protest against the collective penalties against associations for misconduct by fans.

The Jena application had been rejected with indications of massive content errors. The “Bild” newspaper had first reported on this. NOFV President Hermann Winkler reacted smugly, but also very concerned to the association’s explanation.

“I am happy about so much humor in our regional league, which makes cooperation much easier. However, the management of the FCC still does not seem to be clear that it is responsible for the guarantee of play security. Whether Jena helps the clubs that have a real interest in solving the problem ‘pyro’ is questionable,” said Winkler of the German Press Agency.

“Ramble” of AI Hallucinations

Previously, the presiding judge Fred Kreitlow had clearly justified his judgment. “It was relatively easy to check the legal sources. If it is then determined several times that these sources are not correct, then it is obvious that you shouldn’t make the mistake of taking everything from chat GPT unchecked for bare coin,” he said. Kreitlow spoke of a “smorgasbord of an uniflectable ‘ki-hallucinations'”, which were included in the appeal.

Absae reacted to this with sharp criticism for the football club. “It’s great that the NOFV learns more and more when it comes to AI,” it said in the statement that also complained about the game planning by the association.

“In this respect, it cannot surprise us that 73 pages of irony could not be grasped, which is why we would probably have handed over the nine pages that we had to delete in total because they were ourselves into having to do.

NOFV boss demands “common sense”

The case is formally ended for sports jurisdiction because no further legal remedies can be filed, but the unusual procedure will continue to employ the association.

Before the Jena statement, Winkler regretted the effort for the volunteer sports judge and hopes that such situations will not go to school: “For us, these are serious topics for us and we use common sense for this.”
