Carhartt hires new chief brand officers

Susan Hennike has been appointed Carhartt’s new Chief Brand Officer.

In this position, she will “lead the strategic development of multi-year brand strategies” and oversee the Product, Brand and Strategy team, the US workwear brand said on Monday. She reports to Chief Operating Officer Linda Hubbard.

Hennike comes to Carhartt from US apparel brand Bombas, where she was Chief Product Officer. Before that, she worked for the US apparel group Hanesbrands Inc., including for the brand Champion as President for North America. She has also worked for clothing companies such as Victoria’s Secret, Nike and Adidas.

“Susan has an incredible reputation for developing emerging and established apparel brands for diverse audiences and for reaching out to consumers creatively and authentically,” said Hubbard. “Her vision will help shape the future of Carhartt, the experience for all the hard workers Improving people and finding new ways to reach those who don’t know Carhartt.”
