A car journey this morning in Valthermond ended in a ditch with water.
The driver drove across the Noorderdiep, after which the car overshot at an intersection and ended up in a ditch at the Valtherbloks. The driver managed to climb out of the car unharmed.
Cars collide on A28
Two motorists escaped unhurt last night in an accident on the A28 near Eelde.
On the snowy highway, the cars collided for unknown reasons. Emergency services quickly arrived on the scene, but no one had to be taken to hospital. Due to the accident, the A28 southbound was closed for some time.
