A car left the road on the A28 near Hooghalen on Sunday evening and crashed into the crash barrier.
Two lanes of traffic were closed due to the accident and traffic had to use the emergency lane. The accident happened in the direction of Assen to Beilen.
The driver of the car was checked by paramedics, but did not need to be taken to hospital. The cause of the accident is not known.
