Car remains dominant means of transport in Flanders, but bicycle use is rising

A new study by the Flemish government shows that Flemish people are increasingly moving by bike, while the car still remains the most used means of transport for commuting. Despite a growing number of cyclists, nearly two thirds (64 percent) of the professional -active population used the car as the main transport to go to work last year.
