A motorist caused significant damage in the Gasthuisstraat in Kaatsheuvel on Sunday evening. He lost control and crashed into two parked cars. The car then ended up on the sidewalk and also hit three houses.
The accident happened around a quarter to eight in the evening. According to local residents, the driver recently drove through the street at high speed.
The damage is significant. The three facades of the houses were severely damaged. The two parked cars also suffered heavy damage. The driver’s car is a total loss.
Several police cars and an ambulance arrived at the scene of the accident. The driver was checked in the ambulance, but did not need to go to hospital.
The residents of the three affected houses and the owners of the damaged cars completed damage forms together with the police.
