A 45-kilometer car was on fire this afternoon in Emmen. The vehicle was completely destroyed by the fire.
The fire started on the Odoornerweg and spread to the roadside, causing a few square meters of grass to raise in flames. The fire brigade prevented further damage.
The road was temporarily closed due to the extinguishing work. How the fire could arise is unclear.
