An accident took place on the A2 near Valkenswaard on Friday afternoon. A car lies half on the guardrail and the road surface is littered with vehicle parts. Because the left lane is closed, there is a traffic jam heading south.
It is not known how the accident could have happened. An ambulance is present to check the driver and any passengers. It is unclear whether anyone was injured.
Tire blowout
There is also a heavy recovery vehicle on the way for a truck that is a lot further away on the hard shoulder with a blown tire.
