A car with four people in it drove off the Kagerdijk in Wervershoof at around 8:50 p.m. tonight. The car ended up upside down. A police spokesperson says all four occupants have been taken to hospital.

The car drove down the about five meters high embankment and came to a stop at the bottom upside down. “At the moment it is still unclear what happened,” says a police spokesman. “There were four people in the car, all four were taken to hospital. Nothing is known about the seriousness of the injuries.”

According to a witness, at least one of the injured was freed from the car by the fire brigade.
