A dental practice on the Oosteinde in Geldrop was evacuated on Wednesday afternoon after a car was driven against the facade. Nobody was injured. The building suffered considerable damage, both inside and outside.

The accident happened after a motorist wanted to drive away at the dental practice. She thought the car stood in the rear gear. But when she accelerated, the vehicle stewed in the opposite direction and ended up against the wall of practice.

After the blow it turned out that the building had suffered considerable damage. About fifteen people who were present in practice went out. It concerns employees and patients.

People from construction and home supervision of the municipality of Geldrop inspect the building. Depending on that investigation, it is determined whether the dentists and dental hygienists can resume their work. Or that patients may be able to return to home without taking a seat in the dental chair.
