A 31-year-old man from Heemstede drove into a pole along the N205 near Vijfhuizen around 5.20 pm this afternoon and died on the spot from his injuries. Police, ambulance and fire brigade are present in large numbers.
A police spokesperson reported this to NH Nieuws. The driver was the sole occupant of the car. The driver was trapped in the collision with the pole of a viaduct, emergency services still tried to save the victim.
It is not yet clear how the accident happened. The VOA is present to investigate.
