A motorist lost control this afternoon on the Horst between Eelde and Peize. The car probably crashed into a tree and then came to a stop in a ditch,
The accident happened just before 1:30 p.m. Emergency services, including the fire brigade and an ambulance, quickly arrived on the scene.
An occupant of the car was checked in the ambulance, but did not have to be taken to hospital. The car was severely damaged. A salvage company will lift it out of the ditch. The road between Eelde and Peize was temporarily closed due to the accident.
