Car completely burns out on Vierslagenweg near New Amsterdam. Driver escapes unharmed

On the Vierslagenweg just outside New Amsterdam, a passenger car was completely destroyed by fire on Monday evening.

According to bystanders, no one was injured and the driver was able to get out of the vehicle in time. The fire is believed to have been caused by a technical defect.

The fire brigade extinguished the fire. The fire quickly released a lot of smoke.

Part of the Vierslagenweg (N853) was temporarily closed due to the extinguishing work. The road is now clear again.
