A car went up in flames on a football field on Mendelssohnstraat in Waalwijk on Wednesday night. The fire brigade quickly arrived on site and extinguished the fire, but could not prevent the vehicle from completely burning out.
Virtually nothing was left of the car. Local residents indicated that they had not seen the car before. Nothing is yet known about the cause of the fire. A towing company will remove the burned-out wreckage.
