On the Planetenlaan in Son en Breugel, a car went off the road on Tuesday evening around eleven o’clock and collided with a tree. The driver had to be extricated from his car by firefighters.
The victim was then rushed to hospital. This was done under the medical supervision of a trauma doctor.
It is unknown what caused the car to run off the road. As far as is known, no other traffic was involved in the accident. The police are further investigating.
The road was closed for some time after the accident. The accident attracted a lot of attention.
