Three cars were seriously damaged by fire in the Roeselarestraat in Breda during the night from Wednesday to Thursday. The fire started at the car parked in the middle, due to the heat and the fire also damaged the two cars next to it. In Eindhoven and Tilburg, cars went up in flames after local residents heard loud bangs.
The fire brigade used foam to extinguish the fire on Roeselarestraat because the petrol tank of the car had ruptured. It is not yet clear how the fire started. The police have investigated and have not ruled out the possibility of arson.
A car also burned out in Eindhoven during the night from Wednesday to Thursday. According to a local resident, a loud explosion of fireworks was heard just before the fire.

Glass from the car was on the other side of the street. The fire brigade arrived quickly but could not prevent this car from being destroyed by the fire.
On Wednesday evening around ten o’clock, a car also went up in flames in Tilburg on Rossinistraat, after people in the area heard loud bangs of possible fireworks. Little was left of the car.
