A car burned out on Baksdijk in Schijndel on Tuesday evening. Things went wrong around half past eleven.
A woman was driving her car along the Baksdijk when it suddenly started sputtering. When she wanted to check what was going on, the car suddenly caught fire.
After calling 911, the driver could do nothing but watch as her car went up in flames. The fire brigade extinguished the car.
The road was closed for some time so that the emergency services could do their work. A salvage company took the burnt-out car.
