A car was completely burned out on the Oude Dalerveensestraat in Dalen on Sunday evening. The fire brigade was called around 11:30 am, but when they arrived the car was already ablaze.
The car was parked in a small parking lot near a NAM site and left abandoned. The Coevorden fire brigade extinguished the car fire, but because the car was already ablaze when they arrived, there was not much left to save.
Police have not ruled out arson.
