Canada Goose promotes Carrie Baker to President

Canadian apparel retailer Canada Goose Holdings Inc. has strengthened its leadership structure in light of its current expansion plans, promoting Carrie Baker to the newly created post of President, Canada Goose, effective immediately. In this role, she will report directly to Chairman and CEO Dany Reiss, the company announced on Thursday. Reiss will continue to be responsible for all aspects of the company, operations and strategy, while Baker will assume commercial and marketing responsibilities in her new role, the Toronto-based down jacket specialist said.

Baker joined Canada Goose more than ten years ago. Since then, she has held positions including Chief of Staff and Head of Communications. She was also involved in the IPO and the development of the company’s sustainability strategy.

Most recently, Baker led the brand’s North American business. Ana Mihaljevic, who in addition to her previous role as EVP, Sales Operations & Planning, now also holds the position of President, North America, will take on this area of ​​responsibility.
