The Race of Champions (RoC) will take place on snow and ice again this year. 18 drivers in nine teams will start at Pite Havsbad in Sweden on Saturday and Sunday. Last year, Mick Schumacher and Vettel were still able to identify themselves as regular Formula 1 drivers. This is no longer the case this year. Schumacher lost his cockpit at the Haas racing team to compatriot Nico Hulkenberg after a difficult second season in the premier class. Aston Martin driver Sebastian Vettel, the world champion from 2010 to 2013, has ended his career after 15 years.
