Queen Camilla’s children do not participate in the traditional Christmas celebration of the royal family, says E! News.

Camilla has two children with her ex-husband Andrew Parker Bowles. Son Tom Parker Bowles, 50, and daughter Laura Lopes, 47, are both skipping Royal Christmas this year.

The reason is clear. The children celebrate a royal Christmas every other year. Every other year they spend Christmas elsewhere.

Tom tells for the Daily Mail that he will spend Christmas with his ex-wife instead By Sara Buys at home. The ex-couple has two children, Lola18, and Freddy15.

– I’m going back to my ex-wife’s couch, Tom succinctly states to the magazine.

Tom also briefly refers to Charles’ cancer diagnosis in the interview.

– The last two years have been hell for them. The older you get, the more aware you become of mortality, especially when it comes to diseases and other things, says Tom.

Although Camilla’s children are not involved in celebrating Christmas, the royal couple is still surrounded by their family. So there are William and Catherine and children George, 12, Charlotte, 10, and Louis, 7.
