“Priorities shift as you get older. And I feel like it was for both of us,” Cabello said. “We both started so young. We still had to learn to grow up. My priorities have fluctuated and my focus has changed.”
Cabello and Mendes ended their relationship in November after two years. The two are still good friends. They were seen together in January when they were walking Cabello’s dog.
In her latest single Bam Bam Cabello does not shy away from the subject. According to her, the song is about how ‘things change and life takes unexpected turns’.
