‘Investment without explanation’
Calvin Harris, who is actually called Adam Wiles, says he received documents to draw but no explanation about the plan. He nevertheless invested 10.5 million euros and then borrowed another 8.5 million, but he says he does not know where the money went.
According to Harris’s lawyers, there was never the intention to repay the money. They call the project “failed at best and at his worst fraud.” St. John denies the accusations.
His lawyer says that Harris knew about the project and that the campus can still be built. “Because he was dissatisfied with the pace of the project, he chose to start a private arbitration procedure to make his displeasure known,” says St. John in a statement.
The DJ nevertheless maintains that his loan of 8.5 million euros should have been reimbursed earlier this year.
