Four supporters’ associations of PSV want the atmosphere in the stadium to improve. In a call, the associations announce that PSV supporters should now better encourage and support their team during home games. The call comes a week after attacker Noa criticized the whistle of the audience for a long time.
During the PSV match against Willem II, Noa put his finger on his lips long after he scored a goal. For a long time after the game he found the PSV audience too critical and that he felt too little supported. A lot of whistling could be heard from the stands during the game.
The Lighttown Madness associations, Boys from the South, VAK T and EHV HOOLS point out supporters in a joint statement that the atmosphere has always been good in recent years. “Unfortunately, for inexplicable reasons, that is less and less often the case,” the statement is.
For example, the supporters in the Philips Stadium ‘prefer to start with a flute concert instead of putting the same energy in supporting the team, “the associations say. Supporters should support PSV through thick and thin. “If there are times of setbacks, we must show what friendship can be.”
From next Saturday, the associations say that the maximum deployment of the PSV supporters in the stands. “Because only then we can also expect maximum bets of the boys on the field. We are all fighting for the same beautiful club at the moment. When we look at ourselves in the mirror, we must be able to conclude that it is not the Philips Stadium.”
On Saturday afternoon, PSV will play in -house against FC Utrecht. “It is up to Eindhoven to make a difference again. Just like before. The Philips Stadium has to smoke again from Saturday, just like the Philips Stadium that can be so beautiful.”
