Proescritores is the program of the platform Culture Boost which provides the allocation of a monthly, lifetime and non-contributory subsidy, intended for writers over 60 years of age from the Buenos aires city. The objective is not only to grant financial aid in recognition of her literary career, but also to provide a monthly monetary sum to be able to expand his work.
In this regard, the call is aimed at authors who prove a constant public career in literary creation, not less than ten years, or the publication of at least five duly registered books in the genres of literature, poetry, trial either theater. A requirement that obeys to maintain the quality of the selection of those registered.
The procedure is personal and the request is made only with a National Identity Document. If the applicant is unable to attend, the presentation may be made through a proxy. There are no age limits to apply for this benefit in case of being affected by a permanent and irreversible disability.
The Jury is made up of five members: the representative of the Society of Writers and Writers of Argentina, Grace Araozthe professor of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Buenos Aires, Horace Garcia, Flavia Pittella, Javier Martinez Y Maximilian Thomas.
