SAN FRANCISCO – The winner of an American lotto game has become approximately 1.3 billion dollars (1.25 billion euros) richer. The new billionaire bought the winning ticket for the Mega Millions jackpot in Cottonwood, California, about 200 miles north of San Francisco.
