Calhanoglu is on the alert at Inter. Already after yesterday’s finishing session the Turk wasn’t feeling well and wasn’t in top condition due to a muscle problem. However, he had left for Lecce, with the aim of checking on his condition this morning. The check, however, was not positive and so Inzaghi fielded Asllani in his place in the starting eleven. “Calhanoglu had a little problem finishing, he started with us, but he is not available. Tomorrow morning we will see the situation better” Inzaghi told Dazn before the match. The muscular problem must therefore be verified with instrumental tests and then the extent of the problem will be clearer. With just over two weeks to go before the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Atletico Madrid, certainly not good news. Also because Thuram is also out. Now the Piacenza coach can only hope for a minor injury which would also put the Turk out for the match against Atalanta, but not at risk for the in-and-out match at the Metropolitano on 13 March.
