Cage with… white mice in a park in Ostend

The police often receive strange reports, but last night’s one is special.

Mice in the park

Just before midnight, a man called the police. During his walk with his dog, he had found a cage with live white mice. That happened in the Leopold Park.

“The police have collected the cage with the mice,” says the spokesman for the Ostend police. “We also notified the rodent rescue center in Bredene. The mice spent the night at the commissariat.”
