Cabinet overhauls Faber border controls: more power for the Royal Military Police

The border controls introduced by former asylum minister Faber (PVV) will be overhauled after the summer. If it is up to the cabinet, the Royal Military Police will have more flexibility to determine whether the checks are necessary. The intention is for them to become more risk-driven and effective, the Ministry of Asylum said.
