Good health is important for everyone. We want care that suits us, when we need it. However, the demand for care is increasing and the labor market is tight. The government wants to keep healthcare accessible and affordable now and in the future. That is why agreements have been made for better cooperation with healthcare parties and municipalities. Prevention is an important part of this to improve the physical and mental health of the Dutch. In 2023, €6 billion more will be spent on healthcare than in 2022. This brings total expenditure to €103 billion.
