C&A Europe is expanding its corporate communications team

C&A Europe is strengthening its corporate communications team. C&A’s corporate communications department, which has been led by Betty Kieß since 2021, has brought four new recruits on board to “accompany the transformation of the European fashion retailer communicative”.

The four new members of the team will take on the positions of External Affairs Germany, Digital Communication of Corporate Channels, Lead External Affairs and management of the Co-Worker Engagement Team, the clothing retailer announced on Thursday.

Flavia Ballve has been working as Lead External Affairs at C&A Europe since April. The communications expert has more than 20 years in the management of communications and marketing strategies and has held various positions at the Red Cross and the Metro retail group. Before joining C&A, she worked as communications and marketing director for global consumer goods organization The Consumer Goods Forum.

Bianca Maley, who has been responsible for External Affairs Germany since the beginning of August, and Wiebke Tils, who is responsible for digital communication for the corporate channels, report directly to Ballve.

Maley moved from L’Oréal Austria Germany, where she was responsible for the cosmetics company’s sustainability communications as Head of Corporate Affairs Sustainability, while Tils was previously responsible for digital corporate communication and digital CEO positioning at the cosmetics company Douglas.

The fourth member of the group is Olivia Patzelt, who has been leading C&A’s coworker engagement team since October 1st. She also looks back on 20 years of experience, including at Vodafone, where she most recently headed internal communications and board communications as Head of Executive and Internal Communications.
