The fashion chain C&A wants to generate half of its total sales through online channels by 2024 or 2025, said C&A Europe boss Giny Boer the Handelsblatt.

Online sales currently make up 20 percent of total sales. C&A therefore relies on online sales, including through a cooperation with Zalando. The number of logistics centers will also be expanded, according to the Handelsblatt article. The company currently has two logistics centers in Europe and a third will be added in six months.

Last November, C&A announced that it wanted to modernize its European business. At the time, C&A had already indicated that this could mean the loss of jobs. In an interview at the beginning of January, Boer was not yet able to say how many jobs will be lost.
