BVB | Transfer Zoff: “Disagreement” between Terzic and Kehl

Don’t mess around: Although BVB made a three-digit million sum from the sale of Jude Bellingham, Dortmund have been remarkably reticent on the transfer market so far. The reason for this is said to be tensions behind the scenes.

As the “Bild” reports, BVB’s transfer summer has not gone to the taste of those responsible at all. The reason for this is therefore different opinions as to which type of player is more urgently needed.

As the newspaper writes, there is “disagreement” internally. While coach Edin Terzic would like more robust and physically stronger players for his squad, sports director Sebastian Kehl should increasingly look for the “fine blade”. It is said that he wants to look more at the “football component”.

Terzic speaks out against the BVB deal

According to the report, the different opinions have already had serious effects on a transfer. The move from Edson Álvarez from Ajax Amsterdam to BVB was almost complete when Terzic suddenly vetoed it. The deal was put on hold for the time being. The black and yellow have not dropped out completely, but the priorities have shifted.

With Felix Nmecha and Ramy Bensebaini, the vice champions have only brought in two new players this summer. Numerous other professionals have been in talks in Dortmund for weeks, but so far there have been no concrete reports. Also because the internal decision-making processes are “lengthy and complicated” due to the different views of the bosses, writes “Bild”.

BVB is concerned about FC Bayern

At the same time, according to the report, in Dortmund they are looking forward to Munich, where FC Bayern is about to upgrade its squad through a real record summer. The BVB bosses are said to be observing these developments with “concern”.

And with good reason: with Konrad Laimer and Raphaël Guerreiro, Munich have also only reported two well-known transfers, but with Harry Kane, Min-jae Kim and Kyle Walker three more stars could soon belong to Thomas Tuchel’s team. It would be an announcement to the competition that has washed up – and that they fear, especially in Dortmund.
