In the second test match of the summer preparation, BVB meets Rot-Weiss Oberhausen. After the 7-0 win in the first test kick against Westfalia Rhynern, coach Edin Terzic’s team is aiming for the next win.

BVB won the first friendly against Westfalia Rhynern 7-0. A mix of players from the first and second teams was used. Ex-captain Marco Reus (two), talent Julian Rijkhoff, Paul-Philipp Besong (two), Hendry Blank and Prince Aning provided the goals.

Giovanni Reyna will definitely be missing. The American will probably miss a large part of the preparation for BVB. Due to a “leg injury”, the 20-year-old, who the reigning runner-up would reportedly let go if offered a suitable offer, is currently only training individually. It is still unclear when Reyna will return to team training.
The American international was often missing last season. Although Reyna made 30 appearances across all competitions, he was usually only substituted on. He was denied a mission for the full 90 minutes.
