Bundesliga star changes for around 35 million euros

The Bundesliga season is just over. But the clubs are already planning for the coming season. All important news in the transfer ticker.
This year’s transfer summer has it all. This is because the clubs are allowed to sign players for the first time in two different periods. Due to the club World Cup, the first transfer window for the participating clubs opens on June 1st and then closes again on June 10th. The regular transfer window then extends from July 1st to September 1st.
The change from Bayer Leverkusen’s outer train player Jeremie Frimpong to Liverpool FC is perfect. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano writes that the Dutchman’s contract with the English champion has been signed and the official proclamation is imminent. According to Romano, Frimpong is said to cost the Liverpoole 35 million euros.
The 24-year-old switched from Celtic Glasgow to Leverkusen in January 2021. In the Rhinelanders who won the double in 2024, he was one of the absolute top performers. The fast right foot made 133 Bundesliga games and scored 23 goals.
The Italian first division club AC Florence and coach Raffaele Palladino are now going separate paths. As the club of the national player Robin Gosens announced, the contracts of the 41-year-old and his team were “in mutual agreement” on Friday. The club did not give more information and reasons in the short message.
Palladino had only taken over Florence last summer and led to sixth place in Serie A and the semi -finals of the Conference League in the past season. Florence had failed there after the back and forth in Real Betis Sevilla.
National goalkeeper Marc-André Ter Stegen is apparently faced with FC Barcelona. According to matching Spanish media reports, the club plans to separate from its long -standing goalkeeper. Ex-European winner AC Milan brought back his former master coach Massimiliano Allegri after the disappointing season. The 57-year-old replaces the Portuguese Sergio Conceiçao, who came to Milan shortly before the end of the year. Allegri had already trained Milan between 2010 and 2014 and immediately led to the championship. He then won the title five times in a row with Juventus Turin from 2015 to 2019. His second term at Juve was no longer so successful and ended in May 2024.
The departure from Jonathan Tah to FC Bayern leaves a big hole in the central defense of Bayer Leverkusen. This could be filled with Malick Thiaw from AC Milan. The Premier League club FC Arsenal is apparently in concrete conversations with Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško about a change.
